Care and Cleaning
The LapSnap’s waterproof fabric makes it simple to clean by wiping down with a wet paper towel or sanitizing wipe. For tougher stains, use a trusted brand of soap and scrub with a brush or bristle if necessary and allow fabric to air dry after rinsing. Do not attempt to wash the LapSnap in a washing machine, and do not iron the LapSnap so as not to melt the PVC backing.
Materials
The LapSnap is made of heavy duty waterproof polyester Ottertex® canvas with PVC backing. The fabric is mold and mildew resistant, fade resistant up to 500 hours of UV protection, and great for any environment with a minimum temperature of -10°F or -22°C. The lightweight polypropylene webbing has moisture resistance, UV protection, and a low stretch rate. It has a breaking strength of 600lbs (max recommended working load 200lbs) and a melting point of 330°F. The buckles are durable and can withstand everyday wear and tear, and they are designed to be easy to open, even with just one hand. The frame is aluminum and the base is HDPE plastic. There is also a layer of foam padding in the base.
